On November 14, Frederick Banting is born in Alliston, Ontario. Banting graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School and went on to become world famous for a variety of discoveries and inventions. His most famous discovery was that of insulin, which led him to win the Nobel Prize in 1923. Fred Banting is also the co-developer of the G-Suit which was used by future high speed pilots and astronauts.
