1893 - Algonquin Provincial Park is Created (February 28, 2017)

On May 27 of 1893 Ontario created Algonquin Provincial Park. Today, this wildlife park is created.

This immense park (I have visited it over 30 times) is extremely rich in water, trees and animal life. It contains over 2,400 lakes and 1,200 km of rivers and streams. Its area is 7,653.45 km^2.
